What does it feel like?

The LA BODY TONING procedure feels like an intensive workout, as your muscles are undergoing a vigorous series of contractions every few minutes for a total of 30 minutes. There is also a prickling sensation during the treatment.

Is there any downtime?

LA BODY TONING is non-invasive and requires no recovery time or any pre/post treatment preparation or downtime.

How soon will I see results?

The muscles treated will feel stronger with each treatment, with increased muscle mass resulting about 2-4 weeks after the 4 treatment series. Improvement of the overlying fat is appreciable by about 3 months after the series is completed. We recommend a good exercise regimen to maintain results. How long does it last?

Improved muscle tone lasts at least 6 months but longer if you exercise regularly. The fat loss in the abdomen area is thought to be long term due to fat cell destruction.

How Many Sessions of LA BODY TONING do I Need?

For ideal results patients should have six 30-minute sessions over the course of 3 weeks spaced every 2-3 days, then two sessions 6-8 weeks later.

It is advised that patients wait minimally 2 days between treatments to allow the muscles to recover.

The level is gradually increased over the series of treatments. You can lay down, relax, read and talk during the treatment. Use of portable electronic devices is not recommended since proximity to the LA BODY applicator may cause damage to delicate electronics.

LA BODY TONING is painless, but you will feel like you’ve had a good workout. As such, you should prepare for each session as you would for a workout with your favourite personal trainer. Don’t eat a big meal right before your session.

Post-Treatment Care

Avoid alcohol for 72 hours post-treatment. Do not use a sauna or spa. Do not engage in strenuous exercise for 24 hours post-treatment. Your body needs to recover so that your liver can remove extruded fatty acids and toxins from your system.
